I thought I'd open up the thread because I've been dying to pop in with my ideas

I also thought boardies could post what they think would work for the singles' covers.

I have a nice idea for This Time. A military theme, with the boys all lined up in a troup (see http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=DXx8MFIeMas for a rough idea). Just possibly. The shower scene isn't mandatory

Another possibility is of Dan standing outside a house in the rain, looking up at a bedroom window, all we can see is a lamp light through drawn curtains... (obviously not for the entire video, but I haven't thought of anything else as yet) Methinks right at the end of the video, the front door opens slowly, with nobody standing there, just to add to the element of mystery... the last shot is of Dan smiling

OMG! Have you tried playing This Time instead of Jamelia's song? It works perfectly. You basically just need to edit out Jamelia in the video and insert the boys. You could even save the record company a lot of money!

I'm not sure about the mystery thing as we've had that in ITIWO (and to some extent in Without You ) but it would fit I think (I'm not too imaginative, therefore the link was quite helpful).

oh yeah military theme thatll be great lovely   i think anything with a story to it like LIWYC vid its interesting    costumes, acting, Dan in rain?  yeah why not throw it all in what a video

Just thought I should say: I didn't mean to suggest fairground and marionettes for this time... I'm thinking Won't Go Away for the fair, and possibly The Greatest Show On Earth or Spare Me for the marionette idea

 Maybe for Turn It Up they could do a spoof of This Is Spinal Tap...I know a spoof of a spoof, whatever next?!

Yes, with all those amazing extras. It was a real treat. We made it with Caswell Coggins, the guy who directed the 'Sewn' video. He came up with this idea of a look for a video that involved lots of dressing up and lots of extras. We've got dancing girls, a marching band with masks on and two majorette troops. It was a real mix of the kind of people you'd have at a celebration of something. I dressed up as a marionette, one of those French-style clowns. It was good.

Now, this might just be me getting over-excited, or may have been a coincidence, but a girl can only hope...

We do know they peruse these forums from time to time Tom....

I think a vid for Greatest show on earth needs loooaaads of live snippets proving that they are the greatest show on earth.
