As much as I agree with everything else, I do think the boys' Muse cover was...lacking, slightly. It's a good cover, and the band do what they can with the acoustic instruments, but it didn't have that sense of urgency that really made the original. To be fair, I don't think any acoustic version of the song works as well as the original, because it does really need to have a proper, pounding drumbeat and slick electric guitars to get the atmosphere of the song just right...so, should I run for the hills now, or wait until everyone's sharpened their pitchforks?
Getting on topic, though, I think Prince's Little Red Corvette would sound awesome if The Feeling covered it. I'm aware the whole song's just one big double entendre, but those whose ears are not yet ready for that which the song alludes to might not actually get the meaning (behold my wishful thinking)!
Just to add to the Queen repertoire, Seven Seas of Rhye - although not the most famous of the band's songs - would be a hell of a lot of fun!
