    The Feeling play Glastonbury.........Abbey

    The busy boys are playing Glastonbury Abbey on August 9th:

    Friday, 8th August to Sunday, 10th August

    Glastonbury Musical Extravaganza Weekend.........

    Friday 8th August will be "The Squeeze" and "Lulu"
    Saturday 9th August will be "The Feeling" plus A N Other still to be confirmed.
    Sunday 10th August will be The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Charles Hazlewood.
    There will be large screens and firworks each night.
    On the Sunday evening the "Dancing Water" will be back, as well!
    The gates will open at 5.30pm each evening, with the main performance commencing at approx 7.30pm - 8.00pm
    Tickets will be £30 each for Friday and Saturday. Sunday night tickets will be £28. Discounts for children aged 6 - 16. Children under 6 go free. Buy 10 tickets and get one free. Tickets will be on sale from Glastonbury Abbey Gift Shop online at www.glastonburyabbeyshop.co.uk from 14th April 2008

    Meh MB and I are thinking about it, although this will make three weekends seeing the guys and being away from home...but we're thinking about it.Big Smile

    I know it is, but so was Westonbirt, the only problem being it was a bugger to get to without a car! I'll have to look into this a bit more.....

    When I lived in Bridgwater I could get a local bus to Glastonbury (although it felt like it took all day...!) but you might be able find a route with a couple of changes.  Maybe take the train to Bridgwater and bus from there?

    Oooh, sounds like funorama!!  I thought for a moment my luck was in though, until I read the abbey bit.. Still, another announcement to come for the big one, I guess!! 

    How many of us are planning on going? Enough to qualify for the 'buy ten, get one free' deal??
