    Tom Baxter...

...is jolly fab.  We first came across him when he was supporting the Finn Brothers at Regents Park Open Air theatre a few years back.  His new album is out soon and he's really good.  We saw him at a BBC Club thingy a couple of weeks ago to promote the album to Radio 2 producers.  The album is never far from my ears.

    Enjoy!

Well I decided to go check him out at V after your recommendation. He was in one of the tents so had a perfect view.

He was so so good (he's quite swoonsome too isn't he Lynne?)

I loved his band. He had a double bass player who looked like a surfer dude and a really stylish skinny jean wearing violinist. I loved that such trendy looking people were playing classical instruments and making them look super cool.

So pleased I went to see this.

I'm pleased you went to see him too Mich.  He's really excellent live.  His drummer is cool too.  And was his sister singing back for him?

    Definitely easy on the eye...Wink

I saw him do a little acoustic set on 4music from V. Was good. Not what I'd usuallly enjoy - but wouldn't turn him off!
