Did u not watch it on Sat night, she just walked away then faded away, who knows how or why yet. Confused

Russell T Davies is making us wait and said he would not tell us yet, why or how she is back.

The episode had me and my kids bouncing, it was funny, and energetic. I hated the idea of Katharine Tate in it but she really was quite good. Just shows, the proof of the pudding an all that!Tongue Tied

    xx

And every time I can't say what I really wanna say you know,
Yes every time just a trace of that look on my face and you know.

Have no idea, to be honest. Most people's thoughts are that the 'big baddie' (just in case you're avoiding spoilers) at the end of the series has opened up the void to bring back a certain species that had been transported there in Doomsday...I wish they could've waited until after the first episode to bring her back, though. It may just be me, but it felt like she was raining on Donna's parade just a little bit. Though I do have a feeling (no puns intended) Donna will have to go back to that day to meet Rose for the 'Doctor-Lite' episode. If not, I'll be mightily peeved!

Sorry I can't be of more help!

It will be the best series so far, I reckon. With Martha and Jack coming back as well, it will be weird having all the companions.

I heard that David Tennant might be leaving after this series... Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...................................

    Has anyone else heard different?

The jungle drums were beating and i heard this will be his last series BUT if this series turns out so popular with all his bezzie mates in it, he might change his mind!

Then again he won't want to hang on too long probably. Who knows? Hope he stays on but i already have a new doctor in mind!

I think James Nesbitt would be a fabulous doctor. xx

As far as I know, he's down for the 2009 specials. I hope he doesn't leave, he's absolutely amazing as The Doctor. Though if he was replaced, my personal favourites to take over would be Alan Rickman, Dylan Moran or Julian Barratt (the other half of Mighty Boosh), because I'm just weird like that! Big Smile

l almost missed that part with Rose, had to rewind it to double check my eyes weren't decieving me!  I think she was searching for him, the same as Donna had been, only she looked miserable because she didn't find him.  I don't know the logistics of how she will get back, they can always find a way with things like that!

I love Dr Who and Torchwood, and I'm looking forward to the story bringing Rose back.  I read that David Tennant is being wooed by Hollywood due to the success of Dr Who in the US, so I can't imagine him doing many more series.  I did hear that the bloke who played the lead in Life On Mars was being considered for the Dr (sorry, can't remember his name, but he also played The Master in one episode).  However, I also heard that he left Life on Mars becasue he doesn't like the publicity, so surely he wouldn't take on the big role of the Dr that must involve a lot of publicity as part of the contract?

But Christopher Ecclestone is hardly a fan of the publicity machine either so who knows??  I know that my son Henry would be upset if Tennant left but I'm happy to see the progression of a new doc.  It's what it's all about after all.  He only discovered it in the Ecclestone incarnation. Although he is now a complete Doctor anorak (and refers to William Hartnell as "Billy"...!) and has been more than delighted with Mr Tennant (haven't we all...!).

BTW - the Life on Mars geezer is John Simm who was also in The Lakes.

Really? I heard he's going to be doing Hamlet for a bit once this series ends (and once he's filmed for the specials for 2009), and can't say I've seen anything about him going to Hollywood. John Simm is a brilliant actor, but I don't think they'd bring him back to Doctor Who in a different role, or else the kids would be wondering why a bad guy was playing the role of their hero!

I love Torchwood as well. Ianto's my favourite! Big Smile I cried at the finale, though. Apparently I wasn't the only one, though, so I feel less of an idiot about it.

That was an excellent episode on Saturday, they've really got good chemistry between all the actors/actresses and it works very well.  No idea what Rose is doing, but I'm sure we'll find out... in about ten weeks time Sad

I like David Tennants doctor, he's developed the character and now it works very well.  It's good to have a bit of regeneration from time to time though Smile

I was a bit annoyed Rose came back; can't the girl just stay away?! Haha getting a bit irrational there, but she does annoy me sometimes. Donna wasn't as bad as I thought she would be, which is a relief! Can't wait to see the new storylines.
