Which album is better? My money is on 12 Stops and Home.

Better songs?  JWU

Im gonna go with TSAH also, more fun album and easier to love, still like JWU though, obviously :P

I love them both in different ways 

I've heard them both a bit too often but I'll go with 12 stops as that one took longer...

Love both, but I will say that JWU was a slow grower where as TSAH was an instant winner.

It's a bit like asking me which of my two children I love most.

The "first love" is always hard to beat, as that has the memories of discovery, so 12 Stops will always be linked with that early magic, but is very personal to me..

But that doesn't stop JWU being fab in its own special way - for me it's all linked up with a whirlwind of activity and meeting up with an extended boardie family around the Porchester Hall time.  And some very kind actions from lots of wonderful people.

It is very close, but for me 12 Stops just beats JWU.  I know what you mean about an album reminding you of whirlwind activity and meeting boardies for the first time Alec, and for me that was 12 Stops and the end of 2006.

I do have a personal preference for TSAH. Although I am loving the JWU tracks, it's just in my opinion, but i think the singles from Join With Us haven't been chosen as well as the ones from twelve stops.

Twelve Stops but I love Join With Us too.  Twelve Stops is just...brilliant, I don't think I'll ever get tired of it =D

Don't think JWU has been as popular with the general public though, not very well chosen singles I think.  But there are some very good songs on the album and they sound best when they're all played together =)

I'd vote too for 12stops...and I agree that the singles choice for JWU was not the best choice...just meaning that "Without you" and "Turn it up" are excellent songs, but I'd preferred other singles like "Join with us".

Could not choose and will not! Like Alec said, Thats like choosing between my two boys.......
