    radio edits

Great to hear that "Turn It Up" is going to be the next single, but PLEASE - no more editing for radio!  Leave it as it is!  Please!

Everyone knows we're strange, so why do you feel ashamed?

I think seeing as it's less than 4 minutes long I don't think that they'll edit it. They only edited "Without You" 'cause it's 4.49 long. So fingers corssed.Yes

The version that Dermot played yesterday was the album version so I'd guess from that it will not be edited.

    Hey!

There is a radio edit, they half the length of the 1st and 2nd choruses, but this doesn't make a huge difference to the song.

It doesn't spoil the song, like it did with 'Without You'. And this is proven by the fact that you didn't notice! :P

But I agreee with everyone else about how annoying the edits can be, but if you're gonna release a lengthy song then you know that it will have to be cut down =(

Shoud be a big hit I reckon!! lots of airplay!

And, just to put any doubt aside, I can confirm that the singles from JWU are all identical to the album tracks, with not a jot of difference.

Reasonably simple to prove...  Import both single and album track into an audo editor (Audacity will do if you want one for free).  Line one up against the other (zoom in lots, and pick a part of the waveform that's distinctive, so easy to line up.  Invert one of the tracks, and then play both.  In theory, if you've lined them up perfectly, you'll hear nothing, but in practise, you'll hear a tinny rendition of the song which is caused by the mirror images cancelling each other out.  And material differences between the two tracks, a slight remix, say, will stand out like a sore thumb.

The lengths I go to to prove a point... Geeked
