    Keane

I thought it was about time there was a thread about them Big Smile

I love most of their songs, including the old guitar ones... and even some from Under the Iron SeaSmile especially Try Again

I cannot stand "Crystal Ball" anymore since somebody mistakenly understood "Chris de Burgh" instead. It does sound quite similar...

    dollydripmat:

Have just watched the Keane concert from the o2. It was fab. I'm now 'keane' (groan) to see them live. That singer is a bit hunky is'nt he? Wink

He is a bit of a hunk these days, but that's new for him!!

The REAL hunk in Keane is Tim....watch the gig again, and keep an eye on the gawjus pianist Dolly! (i've locked the other Keane thread as this one was already here!) Wink

I never used to think so until I saw them at Brixton where he looked slimmer, younger, healthy & fit. For me he's more of a sweetie than a hunk, he doesn't quite have the drool factor.

Oh so true. I'd not noticed him either until I spied him in photos with Midge and Offy. Very very handsome indeed and lots of drool factor, infact make that weak at the knee factor Stick out tongue

    Re: Keane

Dolly, did you manage to find my wrist (with orange and yellow glowstick) and half of my face in the DVD taking a photo of Keane at the barrier of the B-stage?  Fortunately I am not recognisable unless you are sad enough to be looking out for me (like I did of course!).

Tom looks SOOO much better when you see him close up.  I was never 'excited' by him until I got his autograph at the iTunes gig.  However, Tim has such wonderful eyes!  I've still never met Richard, although I think he looks like a history or geography teacher with his beard.  What's with the beards arriving on all my favourite bands - I don't like them!

    Re: Keane

lol, I see what you mean about the beards... the worst thing is when they start to affect the music lol. e.g Brandon Flowers ( the killers) completley changed after the first album lol! don't get me wrong, I love the killers, but hot fuss and sams town have very different sounds considering they're from the same band.

I spotted the glow sticks in the front row but could'nt see who was on the end of them.Lucky you getting to meet them. Which one had a drug problem?I remember Oasis taking the mickey out of him.

    Re: Keane

Keane are one of my favourite bands.  Saw them twice last year. First at Sheffield Arena and then at Manchester Apollo for the Warchild Gig.  They are awesome live.
