Don't know where this topic went when our old forum was hijacked but thought I'd start it up again.

Yesterday when I was checking in for my flight from Belfast to  Gatwick, Journey South were checking in alongside me for a flight to Newcastle. They had been in Belfast to switch on the Christmas lights.They seemed like nice lads (as we all are from the Boro) but i did'nt talk to them cos i looked a bit of a scruff

I've been waiting to carry this over but I've not spotted anyone, although, I think I saw Lucy Beale from Eastenders in my local Tesco last week. I couldn't be sure though as I didn't want to gawp at the poor girl as she shopped!

The last person I saw was Zoe Ball when I was picking my sister up from the airport. She was carrying a suit carrier, and I said to my mum that I thought she was probably going to get the Gatwick Express (train) to Strictly Come Dancing that evening...and who should we then see in the audience of SCD that night!  Of course, lovely Zoe Ball!  I'm such a loser for guessing that!!

Seems like there are more A-Z celebs in Britain than in Hollywood, according to your stories!

This is a really old one, but about 4 years ago my sister spotted Damon Albarn shopping barefoot in her local supermarket in France.

Barefoot??? Oh right, it's France so it's probably ok weatherwise. It's currently freezing here though luckily no snow yet.

It was August I think...!  It still seems a little strange to not wear shoes in the supermarket....

The other week, when Midge and I were out... ummm.. shopping (for cocktails), I saw Michael Higgs (played Andy Hunter in 'stenders) on Oxford Street..

 That's all I can muster at the mo!!

Took me aaaages.. I ended up googling 'Bad boys of Eastenders' and took it from there.. He had the same shifty eyes he always had in 'stenders!! Probably bored whilst waiting outside whatever generic clothes shop we were passing!!

Where would we be without google? It's embarrassing how much I look up: vocab, lyrics (20 or so per day), homework...

It certainly makes my life (and my job..) easier!
