    I'm confused!?!??!Tongue Tied

There is no form to fill in and it says check back for details, that's conflicting statements.  I'm so jealous of the posts about last nights gig, that I want to enter for this comp, but excited and confused.  So many emotions that my brain has gone numb.

I'm a nice girl but this is doing my head in!!!!!

For all us poor (unfortunate, not destitute) people north of the capital, (no pun intended) there's no hope of an *intimate gig*. I'm sooooooooooo P****D OFF that we miss out. There's just no  way i could travel at short notice (or long notice with family and work) to one of these gigs. I'm too far away.

Its not fair and yes i'm sulking!!!!!

Thank you to all of you that post your pics and videos as without you we would not be able to share your joy and experiences. I don't mean to sound ungrateful in any way but i want to go. Could they not travel a bit further north. (Or have they????)

Do you think i have enough brackets????

    K xxxx

And every time I can't say what I really wanna say you know,
Yes every time just a trace of that look on my face and you know.

I agree Kay!! It's just not fair that everything happens in London!  Anyway it's only 2 day's before Newmarket, so wouldn't be practical anyway!

I got it to work! (posting I mean, if anyone's wondering!)

Got a brand new spanking computer with SOUND!! I think that's helped. Been off today and instead of doing lots of jobs, I've just been playing with my new toy!

I'm stupidly tempted, even though I know full well I can't afford the train etc at the moment....

Kay, there are 2 main reason so many of these intimate gigs are in London -  1. because most of the companies and radio stations that organise them are based in the capital, and 2. because the boys all live either in or not far outside London, and they like to go home after a day's work as much as the rest of us! I know I'm not as far away as you, but I do feel your frustration, especially in the last week! They have been up north in the past though - a couple of years ago they did an instore in Manchester (and somewhere else I think? Midge?!) at Sister Ray records when they were promoting Sewn.

    Well I know what you're after....its a rock n roll disaster!

Oh Aims i know and i understand why its all taking place there but as in the previous post to Sue, It's so frustrating!! Unfortunately i did not see them in Manchester. Thats seems eons ago. Big Smile and they have come such a long way since then. Their fans are countrywide not just down south. But again, Thanks to everyone for sharing them with pics and vids.

Appreciated Left Hug for all of you. xxxxxxx

hmm, very odd. It looks as though that is just annoncing that they will be running the comp.

Did you enter it on that page, or it hidden away from us in the depths of the capital site?

Open up your heart and sing, it's a cure for everything.

It's not really fair that all the action is in London. If I should ever study geography (not likely), I'll write one of these essays entitled "Rural exodus reversed: The impact of music with the example of British band The Feeling" and you'll all be my guinea pigs Wink! Good luck for everyone else who is entering!

Yeah, but it's one small compensation for all the high prices & congestion we suffer for the privilege [Starts North/South divide war, then retreats hastily]
