The Feeling wowed the crowd at an intimate London gig with a cover of Run DMC and Aerosmith's hit Walk This Way.
The Brit Award-nominated band also played a string of their much loved hits at the Q The Music Club live at The Hospital Club, in London's Covent Garden, finishing with their Top 20 single I Love It When You Call.
But after rapturous applause from the audience at the exclusive acoustic performance they returned with an unusual but brilliant encore.
Frontman Dan told the crowd: "We're going to try something we've never done before. We'll see how it goes."
Keyboard player Ciaran Jeremiah fronted a powerhouse rendition of Walk This Way - but with a hillbilly twist.
Clucking like a chicken, Ciaran strutted to the words, rapping and singing in falsetto tones. Dan and Richard strummed away on their guitars banjo-fashion and all the band sang backing vocals.
They brought the house down and the crowd went wild.
A source said: "Perhaps they were feeling braver that it was a more intimate audience. It was fantastic. The boys all went upstairs at The Hospital Club where they carried on drinking with guests until the wee small hours, high their on success."
