i was just wondering who has heard or who likes this band? i am asking cos i have not seen or heard alot of fans on the web talking about them. other people i know dont really like em...so i feel like i am the only one who does. i love the band,especially dave gahan,theres jsut soemthing about him...makes me go weak at the kness

 I only know 'a pain that I'm used to'  cause a friend used it in a short vid we had to make for school (well I think it was by depeche mode but I can't find the vid with the credits anymore so can't check it)... are there any good and representable songs you think I should download to get an idea about them?

 um..erm..recommending an album for you to download is like trying to find a needle in haystack lol but start with Music for the Masses. its a great little "starter" album. i have to warn you tho, many people people say that Depeche are a black band...but just listen to the lyrics and you will find they are VERY raunchy!! after Music you could try Ultra which TOTALLY different...at the time that the album was made ,the lead singer had a drug habit. he died twice too. but hes clean and VERY happy lol his 2 albums are great too. the best thing to do is google Depeche Mode and Dave Gahan and see what you like. :-)

I used to follow Depeche Mode when they first started out in the 80's (showing my age now! lol) and I remember me and my mate went to a few gigs where there was hardly anyone else there! We got some great photos!
