Just a heads up that there is a free Travis CD in tomorrow (Sunday 30th)'s Daily Mail. It's a compilation of their best work with some live tracks, i believe.  Should be good publicity for them given that everyone's forgotten about them.

Who else likes their new album?  The first half is spectacular, the rest less so, i think.

I've got the new one but actually, I haven't got round to hearing it. I shall do so soon. But I like the singles they've released so far.

When did you see them?  Recently or a few years back?  Travis are a great live band, not a jumping-round-like-the-Feeling kind of experience, but a fun evening all the same :)  What's your favourite song by them?

I saw them live once when Keane supported them. I only went to see Keane so had the intention of leaving after the first few Travis songs, but stayed til the end! They do put on a good show!

I'd say the ACTUAL highlight was just their tightness and energy.

Travis have just released new songs, two from their (awesome) new album, out in September.  I've fallen totally in love all over again! *swoons*

I do apologise for once again going on a blatant advertising campaign, but...

Something Anything is the new Travis single and it's very different to anything that they've produced since.. well, ever really.  If you're a video person, here's the official video, alternatively stream the audio here.  Please just have a listen, even if you hate it it's worth a go
